Core Philosophy

Whisper is built on the principle of self-custody and privacy. As a decentralized trading terminal, we believe that your data and your funds should remain under your control at all times. We do not track your personal identity or sell your trading data to third parties.

Data Collection

We collect minimal data necessary to provide and improve the Whisper experience:

• Public Address: When you connect your wallet, we use your public address to fetch your account balance and position data from the blockchain and relevant exchange APIs.
• Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous telemetry data (such as page views or feature usage) to understand how the terminal is being used and to prioritize improvements.
• Local Storage: Your account settings, API keys, and session preferences are stored locally in your browser. We do not store your private keys or sensitive credentials on our servers.

AI and Chat Context

When you interact with the Whisper Assistant, your chat messages and current account context (balances, positions) are processed to generate relevant responses and trade proposals. This data is used solely for the duration of your active session to provide assistive trading capabilities. Chat history is stored locally in your browser and is only synced to our servers if you explicitly enable cloud sync for cross-device access.

Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, please remember that you are responsible for the security of your local environment, private keys, and API credentials. Always ensure you are using the official Whisper terminal at whisper.trade.

Updates

This policy may be updated as we evolve. Continued use of Whisper after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
